I have to admit that I am a typical Cancerian despite my scepticism of Astrology. Being born on a small Island, and as a water-sign, I’m naturally drawn to the sea. I love where I live in Central London and am fortunate to live close to the River Thames and Battersea Park; a rural landscape within the city, which feeds my craving for the coast as well as provide easy access to Queer Culture. I am also a home-maker and my home is my castle although I will enthusiastically wind down the drawbridge for my Queen! I am an animal and nature lover and I share my home with my adorable rescue Bull-breed Lab X. We take twice-daily walks or jog along the river and in the park as I like to keep us active, fit and healthy. I am also a keen cyclist. I am self-motivated, calm, content and more appreciative of the little things and never think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. I have very many practical skills and being creative and ‘a maker’ not only manifests itself in my work, but also in my passion to recycle or restore found unwanted furniture or objects. One of my favourite pastimes is browsing in Charity Shops. I like the excitement of sifting through the sections of music, books, clothing and bric-a-brac never quite knowing what one may find and what I can potentially do with it! I have little respect for those who are money-focused because to me being enriched (emotionally, culturally etc) is far greater, more important than merely being rich. I value honesty, respect and straight-talking yet it’s still important to know when to listen and when to speak. I believe good communication, understanding and balance is key to any healthy relationship. I am sensitive, attentive, and a good listener. I am reliable and like to support those I love or care for. I am optimist and choose to view the cup as half full rather than half empty. I always try to find a positive in any negative or challenging situation. My friends say I am a good friend with good morals. I like to stand up for my beliefs, to be heard and accounted for when necessary. I see myself as being fair and considered and friend’s have described me as grounded. I am not afraid to admit when I have made a mistake, and I will apologise when I am regretful or wrong. Being a maker, I’m naturally tactile. I am very affectionate and loving although initially I can be a little awkward or shy. But when I feel comfortable with you I will be sensual and playful, charming and chivalrous.
