I'm a 40y/o lesbian looking broaden my network of friends (possibly more) in the lesbian community. I've been divorced from my ex-wife for four years.
I'm steady, calm, and collected. I can be around lots of friends and family having a blast talking and laughing or just sitting quietly alone reading.

You may ask why have I been out of the dating scene 4 years. After my marriage ended I needed to take an honest look at myself and reflect on what worked and didn't work in the relationship. Because of that reflection I now have a peace and serenity I have never known before. Humility and helping others are some of my priorities today. I feel I'm at my best mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. And, I'm looking to continue that with friends or a companion.

I love to have fun and absolutely love to laugh doing almost anything. Being able to laugh at ourselves is important to me as well. I like trying new things and broadening my horizons. If it's unique and different I'll probably like more.
